Semi-Dull (SD) Polyester Chips

Containing 0.3%-0.5% TiO2, off white or gray particles.

Semi-dull polyester chips: The Yarn grade or Textile grade chips are available Semi-dull polyester chips. The process of making chips consists of mixing a thermoplastic polyester-resin material with an alumina tr-hydrate (ATH) filler and with a pigment, if desired,in a heated extruder to produce a continuous stream of thermoplastic agglomerate.

The content of titanium dioxide in the Super-bright polyester chips is 0%, and the content of titanium dioxide in the Semi-dull polyester chips is 0. 30% ± 0 . 05%. In the Full dull polyester chips is up to 2 . 5% ±0 . 1%。The main difference between Semi-dull polyester chips and Full dull polyester chips is the different titanium dioxide content, which is more than 8 times that of the former. Full dull polyester chips are high value-added products. It can not only reduce the reflection and flickering phenomenon of fibers, but also make the subsequent fibers have the advantages of soft luster, good deep dyeing, high fabric drape, strong masking performance, etc., which can meet the needs of high-end clothing.
